Meet The Team
I grew up in Wilkes Barre, PA where I fell in love with exercise at a very young age. As a kid, I participated in gymnastics, soccer, and field hockey – anything to keep me active! I received a degree in Biobehavioral Health from PSU in 2010. Since then, I have been in the fitness industry working with men and women of all ages (children to older adult population). I took over as the Lead Instructor at NKG in 2014 to focus solely on children’s gymnastics.
I still teach adult group exercise classes, personal train, and children’s gymnastics. I want to instill healthy lifestyle behaviors in children at a young age so they feel confident being physically active throughout their entire lives. Not only will NKG make physical activity fun but it can increase motor skills, coordination, and confidence!
I grew up in Long Island, New York where I began learning and loving gymnastics at the age of 5. While attending Holy Trinity High School in NY, I was a member of their competitive gymnastics team for 4 years. I am a Marketing graduate from St. Joseph’s University. For the past 8 years, I have been teaching gymnastics to children of all ages at several gyms, day cares, and elementary schools in the NY and Philadelphia regions.
Two years ago, I had a baby boy, moved back to Long Island and continued my passion of teaching gymnastics. I also started my son in a Mommy and Me Gymnastics Classes at 1 year old. He was shy at first but as the session went on, he truly loves it. He continues to gain confidence, improve his fine motor skills, and of course learn some gymnastics skills along the way.
