Katie Jiunta

Owner and Lead Instructor

I grew up in Wilkes Barre, PA where I fell in love with exercise at a very young age. As a kid, I participated in gymnastics, soccer, and field hockey – anything to keep me active! I received a degree in Biobehavioral Health from PSU in 2010. Since then, I have been in the fitness industry working with men and women of all ages (children to older adult population). I took over as the Owner and Lead Instructor at National Kids Gym in 2014 to focus solely on children’s gymnastics. I love getting to be silly every day with the children!

I still teach adult group exercise classes and personal train in my free time. I love helping people accomplish their wellness goals! I want to instill healthy lifestyle behaviors in children at a young age so they feel confident being physically active throughout their entire lives. Not only am I dedicated to make physical activity fun, but I will increase motor skills, coordination, and confidence in all children!

Jessie Hansen

Lead Instructor

I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah taking dance at a young age and soon switching to gymnastics because I loved to tumble. I’ve done competitive gymnastics, high school cheerleading, and yoga since then. I love running, swimming, and stretching for exercise.

I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2017 from Mass College of Art in Boston. I studied a variety of art media including but not limited to photography, painting, printmaking, film, video, and performance art. Since then I have been teaching art and movement classes to children. I love working with youth and learning together how to express ourselves through gymnastics. It is a fun, challenging, and adventurous hobby that I believe builds confidence, identity, and motor skills in children and adults alike.

Jen Petrillo

Social Media Director

I grew up in Newark, Delaware where I began drawing once I was given my first set of crayons. I started art class at an early age and loved everything about creating my own pieces of art. Being creative seemed to come natural and I’ve enjoyed trying different aspects of art over the years; that is what brought me my degree in Digital Publishing with a certificate in Digital Marketing. I love designing logos, creating ad campaigns, and challenging myself with new projects. The world of graphic design is endless and exploring it is what I enjoy most.
